Tyrone's wonderful use of color and light in his paintings faithfully represented the ever changing landscapes of the American horizon. Traveling through the United States, he faithfully brought life to his canvases, freezing in time the beauty of nature.
Tyrone's work may be found in collections across the United States and abroad. He has won recognition through the inclusion of major shows and galleries. For example, his work was selected amongst over 1700 entries to the "Paint America 100." Two paintings were selected to represent each state. From two entries, Tyrone's work was selected to represent both Arkansas and New Mexico. He also won the juror's choice award at the "Maryland Federation of Art, 5th Annual National Landscape Exhibition. Over thousands of entries, his work has repeatedly appeared in the "Arts for the Parks" national exhibition and "Paint America"; Society of Master Impressionist International Exhibition; Second International ARC Salon Competition (2000 entries); International Contemporary Masters of Fine Art; and many more.
Tyrone's work is also represented by several prestigious galleries across the United States. They are: Santa Fe Fine Arts, Santa Fe, New Mexico; Gallery Central, Hot Springs, Arkansas; S.R. Brennen Galleries, Scottsdale; and Lagerquist Art Gallery, Atlanta's oldest and most prestigious dealer of original, fine art. His work is also frequently selected by interior designers and art consultants, for placement with their clientele.
