Mena Art Gallery – Home

Mena Art Gallery is located in the small town of Mena, Arkansas, in the Ouachita Mountains. We support individual and community involvement in the creative arts, and we strive to inspire and serve all ages of artists.

We embrace the many artists who have moved to our area from all over the world, bringing with them new ideas and fresh interpretations of art.

We provide workshops, seminars, field trips, classes, art shows, exhibits and more. Most years we will have 7 to 8 different shows, many of which have entries open to anyone. Check our Scheduled Shows & Exhibits page for details about entry dates and themes.

Because artists often work in creative isolation, our membership meetings strive to provide that sense of connection and encouragement and a forum for ongoing art dialogue.

Southwest Artists, Inc. (SWA), is a local non-profit 501(3)C organization which has been devoted to promoting the arts in Mena since 1945.

To continue these activities and begin the many new ones we are planning to add in the coming months, we must reach out to new constituencies for support and participation. We hope you will join in our mission to bring art to the people of Polk County by giving a tax-deductible donation or becoming a member today. Call (479-394-3880) for information or come by the gallery at 607 Mena Street.

Support for the Mena Art Gallery is provided, in part, by the Arkansas Arts Council, an agency of the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage and Tourism, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
